Ever since his arrival to the AAA in 1995, wrestler Cibernético had been an AAA top lister, and of course, one of the main stars in many relevant chapters in AAA history.
One of such relevant events was the feud that he sustained against AAA founder, Lic. Antonio Peña. This feud reached a climax during the Triplemanía XII, where Cibernético faced off against Peña’s maximum star, La Parka, on a mask vs. mask match. The event took place at Toreo de Cuatro Caminos in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, on June 20th, 2004.
Wrestler La Parka defeated Cibernético thanks to the help of Lic. Antonio Peña himself, who didn’t care about the physical risks and jumped aboard a motorcycle in order to give chase to an ambulance, where La Parka’s second was being held hostage. After a tenuous fight, La Parka emerged victorious, and his victory is still considered as a turning point in all AAA wrestling history, and it also can be considered among the best matches in all Mexican Lucha Libre history.
On a semifinal match, wrestler Charly Manson defeated rival Electroshock on a match that was originally stated as a “retirement” match, but Charly Manson changed his mind after Lady Apache, the wife of Electroshock, offered her scalp in place of the forced retirement of her husband. Thus, Charly Manson choose to see his brother humiliated instead of retired. This is considered one of the most emotional events in all AAA history.
The previous match saw wrestlers Gronda, Latin Lover and Héctor Garza win against rivals Chessman, Abismo Negro, and TNA guest wrestler Abyss.
On another match, wrestler Mr. Águila won against rival El Zorro, in a match for the Campeonato Semicompleto UWA.
The second match of the night had Octagón, Heavy Metal and El Intocable pitted against Los Infernales Consagrados AAA (Pirata Morgan, MS1 and Espectro Jr.) where the team of “Técnicos” defeated their rivals.
On the first match, wrestlers Pimpinela Escarlata, Cynthia Moreno, Mascarita Sagrada and Oscar Sevilla “El Novillero” defeated rivals Polvo de Estrellas, Faby Apache, Mini Abismo Negro and El Apache in a special “Relevos Atómicos de Locura” match.
