Triplemanía VII event took place in June 11th, 1999 at Centro de Convenciones de Cd. Madero, Tamaulipas. There, the grudge held against Kick Boxer and El Tirantes by the Casas family (Heavy Metal and his father, Referee Pepe Casas) reached a new chapter, on which newly-arrived wrestler El Felino took a very active part, helping his brother against his rivals Kick Boxer and Thai Boxer. This time, the match ended in a very different way, as the brothers emerged victorious, thus leaving El Tirantes ready to surrender his scalp.
Shortly before, wrestlers Octagón, Perro Aguayo and El Cobarde defeated rivals Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Sangre Chicana and El Texano. Noticeably, this was the first time that Father (Perro Aguayo) and son (Hijo del Perro Aguayo) had to fight against each other.
On a special “Man Vs Woman” exhibition match, Pentagón defeated Xóchitl Hamada.
In a previous match, Máscara Sagrada, Alebrije, Pathfinder and Latin Lover won against Cibernético, Abismo Negro, Electroshock and Espectro Jr.
Wrestling team Los Vipers (Histeria II, Maniaco, Psicosis II and Mosco de La Merced II) defeated rival team Los Vatos Locos: Charly Manson, Nygma, May Flowers and El Picudo.
On the first match of the night, wrestling team Los Spice Boys (Randy (later known as El Intocable), Vangelis, Raymond and Angelo), defeated rivals Los Payasos (Coco Amarillo, Coco Azul, Coco Negro and Coco Rojo II).
