After the undeniable success of Triplemanía I, the AAA, as a company, had the compromise and the challenge to work on a sequel. So, in 1994, at the Baseball stadium in the Mexican state of Aguascalientes, the first of three events took place, each holding a set of bet matches.
During this match, wrestler Heavy Metal won the scalp of rival Jerry Estrada. During the previous semifinal match, wrestlers Octagón, Perro Aguayo and Hijo del Santo defeated legendary wrestlers Black Cat, Eddie Guerrero and Love Machine. On another match, wrestlers Coco Rojo, Coco Amarillo and Coco Azul won against rivals Cien Caras, Máscara Año 2000 and Universo 2000. For their part, wrestlers Konnan, Máscara Sagrada and Tiger Mask won against rivals La Parka, Fishman and Blue Panther. On another match, wrestlers Misterioso, Fuerza Guerrera and Juventud Guerrera steamrolled over rivals El Volador, El Mexicano and Latin Lover. Wrestler Psicosis (today known as Nicho el Millonario), Satánico and El Hijo del Espectro (a team known as Los Infernales) defeated rivals Lizmark, Lizmark Jr. and Tinieblas Jr.; on a “mini wrestlers” match, Mascarita Sagrada, Octagoncito and Super Muñequito defeated rivals Espectrito I, Fuercita Guerrera and Jerrito Estrada. Then, on the opening match, Rey Mysterio, Rey Mysterio Jr. (a future international wrestling star) alongside wrestler Winners (later known as Abismo Negro), won against the team of wrestlers composed of Vulcano, Tony Arce and Rocco Valente (The wrestling team known as Los Destructores).
