Born on Nochistlán, Zacatecas, Pedro Aguayo Damián set foot on a ring for the first time on March 10th, 1970, and now, more than 40 years of career later, he has been the protagonist of epic matches, has claimed the masks and scalps of his most fiery rivals and has built himself a solid reputation among his fellow wrestlers.
It is due to all those years on the ring, and for each match full of glory, blood, sweat and tears that the place of the so-called “El Can de Nochistlán” has been assured and firmly consolidated among the AAA’s Hall Of Fame. The ceremony of his inclusion took place at the Triplemanía XX event.
In such event, wrestler El Perro Aguayo was greeted by none other than the AAA Founder himself, Lic. Joaquín Roldán, while, at the same time, a sound ovation from the audience, composed by men and women of all ages, could be heard, honoring the legendary wrestler.
Along the many tunnels, halls and terraces that compose the Arena Ciudad de México, a loud yell could be heard: “¡Perro! ¡Perro! ¡Perro!” and that was a moment that will be remembered until the end of the AAA history.
